No (Specific) Mother's Day for Me

Yesterday was Indonesian Mother's Day.
Am about to tell you my kinda Mother's Day.

Mother's Day..
Started on July 1st, 2000 when I married to the most wonderful man in the world. Then every single day of my life was Mother's Day.

Mother's Day..
Is not the day when I should get special treatments from my family. Coz I always have them. Day to day. Hours to hours. Minutes to minutes. Every seconds.

Mother's Day..
Is not the day when I have to spoil and please myself with good things. Coz basically I can have them anytime I want. Ow.. when it's not the end of the month for sure. When I have to tighten up the family budget 😄😄😄

Mother's Day..
Is not the day when I have to see how thankful my husby and my kids to have me as the great woman in their lives.
It is the day when I have to show them my gratitude. When I have to thank them..

To my husband..
Thank you for giving me the chance to be a mother for your 4 wonderful kids.
Thank you for opening the door to a very wonderful world. Motherhood.
Thank you for always hold my hand during the journey.

To my Melvyn..
Thank you for all the new lessons you gave to me.
I learned how to deal with extra-energetic child. How to deal with big brain kid. How to deal with teenager.

To my twinster. Marshall and Marvell.
Thank you for being the sweetest twin monsters in the world. I learned more about patience. Expectations. Great souls. Respects. I learned more about being tough.

To my lil girl. Najmah.
Thank you for giving me lessons about how to be a real woman. I learned more about beauty. Behaviour. Fear. Girl with brain. I learned all of that from you.

And my lessons are not ended yet. It will continue till the end of my time. For sure.

Mother's Day.
No need special gift for Big Mommy, my husby and kids. All of you are my extraordinary gifts just by breathing and be happy.

Mothers are the Best Actors

Here's another thing that man can hardly do. Being the actor for the kids.

Days without husband is never an easy ones.
Now I know what my mother felt.
What she struggled in her youth with her 4 kids.

I myself is not a kind of person who can do long distance relationship. My dear husband and I never been apart for a very long time.

He spoiled me from the very first time we met.
He adores me for every single inch of my body.
He pours me with his love and tenderness.
Every second. Every minute. Every hour. Every day.

He's doing the same with our kids.
And for that all of our kids fall in love with him.

And now he's not around.
It's not easy for the kids.
It's not easy for me. Never.
I cry outloud. But only can do it in the inside.
I have to be strong for the kids.
I have to share my laughter for the kids.
I have to cheer them up.
I have to make them laugh.
I have to make them feel safe with me. Their mother.
I have to do that. For my kids.

You can say I'm exaggerated.  Say what you want to say.
But I guarantee you'll feel the same way if you have a husband like mine.

So...
I put my happy mask on.
I put my iron woman uniform.
I read my script carefully. Script of playing my role as a mother.
And be the best actor in this situation for the kids.

Oh heaven yeah..
Mothers all around the world are the best actors.
For every single circumstances.
And my greatest respect to all single mother in the world. You're the top of the list of best mothers.
